Hello,

with my folding octo, i ve also a folding Y6 who come with 3 axis gimbal (my own design too) and his integrated landing gear.

To attach both i use picatinny rail and quick release wich is really reliable and relatively cheap

DarkButterfly

Not bad, what';s the flight times like on a Y6?

Why use 4 motors when you can use 6?

that';s depend which motor you put on it.

Mine i use LD3510 360kv with two 6S5800. Flight time is around 17minutes with a Sony Nex7

It';s great to see one that folds!

My Y6 is based on the Quadframe hex pro, so has 25mm x 500mm arms with 15 inch props ~ boy does it take up some space!

I am using the DYS 3 axis gimbal mounted on a short arm in front, between the Y arms.

I am interested in how your Y folds, and very interested in your gimbal and landing legs; are any of them available, or are the plans available?  Might the legs be adaptable to fit an existing gimbal?

I like the use of tech from another discipline, the picatinny mounts are a great idea!

Cheers
Andy

yes i can probably do a nice set of legs for your quadframe !

maybe its better we discuss this by email: multirconcept@gmail.com and so maybe you can send me some picture of your gimbal mounted on the frame
