Just found these on HK, they seem to be new high capacity batteries specifically for aerial video and FPV, they compensate weight by a low discharge rate, might have to get one :)

Well, you say low discharge rate, but at 10C that one still pumps out a happy 160A..  :blink
TBS Discovery + ghetto printed gimbal, HovershipMHQ 1 & 2, QAV250, Turnigy Talon V2, chinese Alien500 thingie, 3d Printed Tricopter, Bix 3, Flyingwings.co.uk FalconEVO, Venturi EVO 1+2, Hornet Racing Wing, Radjet800 (by the dozen)... Permanent sucker for FPV, and lots and lots of OpenLR

they are following along the lines of the Tatuu from gensace

I just ordered a couple from their Global Warehouse as the EU and UK are out of stock  :huh
Guess I have to wait for delivery.. And also had to pay extra for postage..

I have a 450 Quad with 900kV motors and 10" props which I plan to put the 4000mAh 3S Multistar lipo on. It is currently 1.6kg with a hi discharge 4000mAh lipo which weighs ~200g more than the Multistar! I want to put a 200g gimbal on without pushing the hover RPM any higher so this is a great option for me (if it works..). My testing shows my current setup draws 4.8A per motor (19.2A total) to hover, with max about 12A draw per motor. I should be able to stay comfortably within the 10C and 20C burst..

Anyhow, does anyone have any feedback as to their performance? I';ve searched online and most reviews i';ve read say they are good for smaller / lightweight multirotors which makes sense as they are low discharge rate lipos.

Oops, just started a thread on the same topic without looking first. My bad.

Anybody fly an octo on one of these yet?
