30A ESC Recommendations for 450

As with most things in this hobby probably the how long is a piece of string horses for courses swings and roundabouts question / answer.  Have scanned the threads and will keep reading...

But.....any recommendations for reliable and reasonably priced 30A ESC for my 450?

Currently running QBrain 25A which has been great and no hassles for a beginner. But doesnt mount conveniently on my 450 and takes up valuable space which could be saved by escs mounted on arms (but which will require tinkering by me...has to be done).

Have 12A Simon Series ESC for my WIP 250 build but not had chance yet to try them out.

Cheers

AfroESCs are generally rated well as far as budget ESCs go, however,  I haven';t used 30A myself so can';t speak from experience.  But the Afro series can easily be flashed and programmed to your liking.

Yup, 30A Afro ESC are really good.  I';ve been using them for just under a year without too much trouble.

I';ve got a set of Afro 30a escs running 4s on a 330 sized aero machine.  A little overkill, but they don';t get warm, and they just work well out of the box.  I haven';t had to arse around flashing software and stuff, which is nice.  I wouldn';t hesitate to use them on a 450 machine too...
