LiPo Size Difference

I have bought four Zippy Compact 1300mAh 3S 25C packs.  Two pairs at different times.



The bigger ones (105g) were bought a few months ago and the smaller ones (97g) a couple of weeks back.  Apart from thickness they have the same dimensions.  According to the label they';re all 1300mAh 3S 25C packs.

Any idea why the later ones are so much smaller?

its either a different manufacturer , or as li-po tech is still moving forward ... It could just be that ';lighter&smaller'; senario

I';m hoping that, too.  The smaller ones are bigger than 1000mAh, I was afraid they stuck the wrong labels on.

No, had the same myself.  Caused me a few issues with my xugong 10, as 4000 mah 4 cell';s generally fit, but i have a couple that were a little ';obese'; to fit with comfort!
