wire size

I have a standard DJI F550.  It runs on 3S and 4S batteries and the main power lead from the battery to the power board is 14AWG.  The batteries have 10AWG wires.

I';m in the process of building an upgrade to the 550 using the E600 which runs off 6S batteries.

The only wire from the new esc to motor is 18AWG.  Can';t find anything on the power board to esc but it is a dual core (inner positive and outer negative) with the inner cores being very small.

Wondering what would be the best size of wire to use to connect the 6S batteries to the power board, will 14 AWG be OK or should I go for the 10AWG?

Just re read the above, it sounds confusing to me and I wrote it but. ..... Battery is 10AWG -   Battery to Power board is  ??????, Power board to esc is (small double core) ??? and esc to motor is 18AWG, if that makes more sense.  :frantic:

I think I';d be tempted to go for 12 AWG.  I have 6 cells on my heli, with a 66 amp ESC, all of which rarely gets past warm, so yes, 12 AWG is easier to solder than the 10, and will fit nicely with XT90 connectors!
