For those of you still interested in such things, and after my dismal attempts at getting both the Turnigy ';Be found'; pwm alarm and Danny (Hands0n)';s ';generic'; pwm alarm working.  At last I have managed to get a result!

They';re cheap and tiny, but very loud!  Loud enough in fact to annoy the hell out of my wife two floors down!

So how are they connected/activated?  Easiest thing in the world!  All you need to do is connect it to a spare Rx channel mapped top a spare switch (2 or 3 pos) and job';s a good';un.  I also rebound my Spektrum AR6115e 6 channel Rx with the switch set to alarm for failsafe.  I didn';t even need to set endpoints, it just worked.  ~~
Plus, it doesn';t go between anything either, so less chance of the device failing and corrupting data to a channel, something that I didn';t like with the ';Be found'; style of buzzers.

Works every time.

As an aside, when experimenting with the ';Be found'; device, I stumbled upon the fact that this device will work with a AR8000 (8 channel) Spektrum Rx by using the bind/data port.  The device is triggered on loss of signal, which is fine for me.  I could use one of my new spare HK buzzers on a spare channel, but that would entail a rebind with the Wookong M and of course the innevitable failsafe tests, and as it is not ';broke'; ATM, I';m not going to meddle.  If I ever rebuild it, I think I';ll use the tiny HK ones instead.

Edit: Before anybody asks, no I haven';t tried it with my EzUhf diversity Rx using ppm(muxed).  I assume that it would be a simple case of mapping one of the other pwm channels to a spare switch, but again until I try it..
The same would apply to say an X8R using ppm.
