Hi All,

So im look at my hex and about to stick my h3-d3 onto it,  which go me thinking.

How do you control the gimbal if you wanted a two man set up with futaba Sbus?

How do you pro';s do it.
I guess you run two transmitters and recievers,  but how do you split control as the gimbal is plugged into the FC with in turn plugged into the receiver for the pilot control   

Do you just feed in a seperate control signal from a second receiver (non sbus) for the gimbal into the gimbal channel on the FC?

Just a thought, why not use two transmitters and a buddy lead, use the buddy lead tranny to control the camera.

I used this set up when flying jets, used the second tranny for setting up the trims & switching on & off smoke system, retracts, etc.
Made it easier to concentrate on flying for first trimming flights.

Second pilot in your case can monitor camera and adjust to get best framing while main pilot can concentrate on flying copter and keeping it all safe.

I use the buddy system. Futaba 18mz controls everything through 2 receivers. When using a cameraman I can flip a switch on the 18mz to allow a futaba 6ex to take control of the channels that control the gimbal / shutter etc. I use the wtr-7 so it';s all wireless. Works like a dream.
