Very nice combination there, first time I';ve seen anyone using Jeti esc';s on a multi; they';re my best choice of esc';s for my planes, following with interest!

Well first few hours of building went well considering you don';t get any instructions you can get a very poor exploded diagram from Sky-Hero which doesn';t tell you what size screws go where, bit of common sense and you';ll get there though but considering the price I';d expect quality instructions even for a simple build what bits and screws go where and which is the best order to build in and most importantly adding thread lock to the right bits, simple things like that that not everyone would automatically do counting screws to find where they go is tedious.

Not figured out where u attach the second battery yet but my brain near committed sucide today after doing my driver cpc which was boring enough that I fell asleep twice  so I shall leave it till tomorrow and sort the wiring out after a good snooze and my nephew will be out despite his best intentions he';s a pain in the ass

Lottery is wish, working away and banked some change  the hammer is cool unfortunately the nephew that goes with it is a pain in the bum.

Today shortened all the motor wires for each arm and built them up with the esc in the arm used some cable sheathing on the medium and long arms to soften any vibration form the wires jiggling in the arm.

Found homes for all the electrics except the lightbridge and managed to get the wiring tidy.

Made up a wiring harness not the best I have to admit but I did think that would be mk 1 and not quite right and it wasn';t, combination of too short a esc leads coming out of the arms and thick wire made for tight wiring so will redo that, ive kept the electrics on the main deck and ran the wire harness under it just come up with a better design while I';m typing this will look at it tomorrow evening.

Not a lot of progress for a days work.

Been a little while since I';ve done anything which is a bit of a sin really having all this gear here and not using it but the lightbridge and a2 setup were giving me a little bother but sorted that out now by pulling out the lightbridge for now.

Also been concentrating on my operations manual not rushing it but hopefully getting this amendment right so the hero had to wait.

I also wasn';t happy with the wiring too much mess, I had 6 deans plugs glued together and bridged across the back but just wasn';t that happy when It was all together so striped it all down again, bought a few different types of 4 mm bullet connectors normal round ones and other type with a flat section on it for soldering to a battery, used the round ones and they do the job perfectly nice and neat underneath using minimal wiring.

Double sided tape between layers, zip tied to the chassis and when I';m happy everything is good to go I have some plastic putty stuff to cover the connectors so I don';t short it out.

If that';s your distribution for your esc';s then I would be very careful, make sure that the cable going to those bullet connectors will carry the combined load otherwise it';s a recipe for disaster!

Allan

It';s 12g should be enough for my current needs.

Decided I was happy with the bullet connector setup so encased it in a mouldable plastic I got from maplin, should have made the white section in the middle a little thinner but it';s ok
