Hey everyone!

Here';s my hexa build. Still some upgrades and tidying up to do, but in general terms, I think it';s pretty good and got all the components for less than £300, excluding remote and batteries.

A list of the components I used:
- 6 x AGM MT2213 935KV motors
- 6 x Hobbywing Skywalker 20A ESCs (which I later found out to be fake, but haven';t let me down so far anyway) flashed with SimonK firmware.
- 10x45 props
- APM 2.6 flight controller
- Ublox NEO GPS 6M
- Simple BGC 3.1 controller and CNC aluminium gimbal for GoPro
- 3DRobotics 3DR telemetry Kit
- Attopilot 90A
- Turnigy 3A UBEC
- White, blue, red led strips for NAV light
- HJ500 frame and Landing gear

I usually fly with 2 x 3000mah 20c 3S lipos, which gives me roughly 12 minutes of airtime on with a total gear weight of ~3kg. With a 5000 mah lipo I don';t get much more than 10 minutes.

General top-back view

Gimbal. Pitch can be controlled from the remote

Improvised shell :) Already protected the controller from a few crashes

Lighting. Strips are controlled separately by each color with diy simple circuit. Blue for GPS lock and others for arm status. Also installed a potentiometer to control led brightness and reduce energy consumption

FlySky FS-T6 radio. Replaced one of the original analog inputs with a 6 position switch so I can select all the flight modes with one channel. The other analog input is available for gimbal pitch control and tuning

Well hope you enjoyed it.

Comments welcome!
Cheers  :beer2:
