Carbon Tricopter with KK2 mini because you have to own a Tri and Falcon Evo FPV (rebuild again) with fatshark 600mw vtx & pz2040 cam. New addition (hidden from the missus!) 250 quad.

Gav

For 20 quid that is a mega bargain - pair it up with a Video receiver and away you go.
I bought the exact same monitor that is in the kit for 17 quid delivered a few weeks back - so for the extra 3 quid + shipping of course it really is a bargain.

Nice image on the monitor and it doesn';t blue screen either - stays black or goes completely black if there is no video signal.

Have to correct you on the HK Quanum screen Gav. It starts to show static of it starts to loose signal and complete static when it has no signal. I';ve searched high and low for the same screen but only found blue or black screeners...
A new way of buying and selling RC Gear.

I bought these to test out fpv without spend loads.  Very impressive for the price.

Have a set, love them. I didn';t like the Fatsharks I tried, but love these. i used to fly on a monitor, which this is, but with the added benefit of being able to black everything out  ~~

Heh, I met a chap flying his hex in a park, he let me hitch a ride with his goggles. Found the IQ and "immersion" underwhelming, tbh, I';d rather save £150+ with these screen goggles

Ah ok, yeah I guess static is ok though for a short period before signal is restored.. Better than  a blue screen frazzling your eye balls.

DebianDave

More importantly, it gradually fades out rather than "this is ok, I can still see" !#|\ BANG BLUUUUUUUEEEEE - [#upside down in a puddle]. Gives you time to gain height or come back a bit

If you already have a 5.8GHz receiver then look at the Fatshark Base goggles as they have a 35° fov.

They';re the only ones that I have ever worn (a club mates goggles) and although they';re nowhere near as immersion as I hoped I dread to think how dissapointed I would be with the narrower field of view ones.

Image quality was really nice but it was a little "distant" for want of a better word
