Anyone know somewhere to buy some batteries from at a decent price?

Looking at getting some more as I only have one currently (fly away and a puncture)
So really need some more to up my 20minutes flying at a time.

4S, 5200 mAh 35C x3
3S, 5200 mAh 35C x3

Just shy of £300! Bit more than I was hoping.
Don';t wanna buy any second hand though either. Anyone know where to buy from?

I';m after suggestions too having just spent time filtering through HK';s site only to be told most of the UK warehouse lipo stock is on backorder and that I can';t mix warehouse orders (want something else from UK warehouse)

Hobbyking is the only place I buy batteries like a 1/3 of the price as any uk store. Plus they usually have what you need in uk warehouse so youl have it in 2 days. If not their euro warehouse will have it in stock. I recommend the turnigy nanotech

I went through the process again using Euro WH and both choices I decided on were out of stock

Just had an im session with Hobby King.. they haven';t got a clue when their UK warehouse will get Lipos in..  said could be six weeks..  they have hardly anything in stock.. got a sense they have issues with Lipo';s at the moment after the clamp down on their international carriage..

Decided to try some cheap "Dynamic" lipos which are getting some good reviews.. from HobbyStores in Uk   http://www.hobbystores.co.uk/default.asp?WMFN=HOB_Weblet&WMFT=D&WPG=HOB_HomePage1&itemid=DYN4S4500

Will let you know what they are like..

It seems every time I go on Hobbyking UK warehouse to check for lipos another one or two models have gone OOS.

I';m eager to hear what you make of the ';Dynamic'; lipos Jumpy as I';m in need of a few more.

What irks me about Hobby Kings system is selecting Lipo';s/All brands brings up a long list and all those I';ve chosen that state "In Stock" are individually listed as "Out of Stock" for EU W/H and "In Transit" for UK W/H.

I get mine from here http://electriflyer.co.uk/ good batteries and service at a competative price.

just ordered 4 of these for my mini £38 posted, cant complain with that, similar lipo with the high discharge rate would prob cost £12-15 each from uk plus postage is always expensive in the uk

I';ve not seen anybody else compete with HK, either UK, Europe or China.  All their lipo';s are packaged correctly as well, unlike a certain ebay trader I once bought a couple of cells from.  Lol!  The postman said to me "I';ve got your lipo';s here"!  You can guess how he knew.

Please note, I have no hesitation from buying other stuff from ebay, just not lipo';s!

Hmm, a gens ace 4000 4 cell is £44.99 from GS!  That';s the Harrods of multi';s!  Think I';ll stick with HK, but thanks.

Yeh I find zippy compacts from hk UK are the biz.  Saying that,  I just had to order 2 new ones as my current ones were like puffer fish after my last flights... But they have had a hard life for last 2 years,  so I think reached their natural end of life.  So just bought 2 the same to replace em.  3700 4s is what I use

Yes, two years is about right.  I also have a couple of 3700';s.  Funnily enough, it';s the size of the Zippy';s that is paramount for me, as there';s not many that fit the belly of the Xugong 10 I';m flying at present.

This is what happens when you stay in the air for too long tho sadly.  This was after I got carried away a couple of Sundays ago with my heli, a 6 cell porker!

you gotta nail that with a gopro focused on high frame rate ... you could sell the vid I reckon

use a long reach sledge, plasticine and a good 6" nail - what could possibly go wrong  :wack0

Ref batteries/life.

Believe batteries start to deteriorate as soon as they are manufactured.  Read it on a techy site last week.  They also came to the conclusion that even the best  have about 500 charges on average and then........
Let's be careful out there.
SAFETY is.. NO accident.
