Can anyone give me the correct settings for the sony nex 7?. i am using it on a Zenmuse Z15 on a S800 EVO. I have tried using the settings on the DJI website and they are not producing a good picture. i have changed the lens to the 18-55 as well. Ive balanced it and that works all fine but the settings are not producing a goos picture. Also, after spending the day testing and videoing i got home to find that the footage had disappeared ??. I had carried out a number of flights and checked on the camera each time i landed to see if the footage was there and it was ? on the last flight an error message appeared on the monitor saying it was recovering data ?? and then went blank??. i cannot remember the exact message but when i got home all the footage except the photos had disappeared.  :banghead: :banghead: :help:

You need to run in manual or shutter priority.

Set shutter speed to 1/125, manual focus.. set ISO manual so that F stop stays above F8 for conditions, Manual white balance.

Hope this helps

For some reason when i am using manual focus i am getting red lines on the screen. Any ideas why this is ? i have tried those settings you suggested. Should they work when it is going dark. Just tried them and it is still poor quality. Any ideas ?

No idea why you are getting red lines..   if its blurry its probably focus.. use focus assist and focus at something at 6m...

If its darkish.. u will have to set the ISO quite high.. remember and keep F stop above F8.. preferbly higher so that you have good depth of field.

could be the focus assist, so it shows you what you are focusing on, is it like a line round the outside of something, and as you focus in and out, it moves / changes ?

if so, it wont be seen on your videos etc, and you can turn it off in the menu (although it is a good help when manual focusing)

Cheers
