Hi all,

i have been searching for a mains powered charger which can charge 2 x 4s at the same time.

My budget is up to £60

Can anyone point me at a product which will fit my requirements?

thanks in advance

Oakie

Only when one looses sight of your toy does FPV become fun and against legislation already in place.

In that price range I would look at getting a couple of B6 chargers and an old server psu to power them. At least if one breaks its modular and easily repaired.

Will be charging 4500mah 4s lipos.

Would it be worth upping my budget?
How much would i need to spend for a good setup and what would you recommend?

Many thanks guys

B6 chargers can be had for around £15 each. These will charge your 4s at up to 5amps.
A 575 watt 12v server supply such as the HP DPS-600PB can be had for £17 and the modification to switch it on is just a matter of shorting three pins.

So a mains powered charging setup for two batteries and a PSU that will not even feel the load is just £47.

PSU Instructions here
(sorry but you will need to register to see it)

You could add a tenner to that and get a dual volts/amps digital panel meter for the charger and a handful of banana plugs and sockets. A simple wooden box will make a case for the PSU and with the Meter and sockets fitted you have a superb 12v supply.
