recomendations for 3s 2200

looking for new batteries as it looks like 2 of my turnigy blue ones are pretty goosed ( down to 1800ma  after 8 months ).

Need to be about 30c rated as I sometimes use them on a 450 quad , but that';s a genuine 30c discharge not the mickey mouse numbers hobbyking makes up.

Any recommendations of whats up to the grade? would consider a bigger capacity if its the same size as a standard 2.2 pack.

Eventually went for 40c zippies , at £8.50 there cheap as chips , and there is good feedback on them.

Gensace was my next option , very good reviews on tinternet .

hobbyking uk also have a new "heavy duty" 60c turnigy blue  battery , but no-ones tested it . Having already been scorched with a crappy nano-tech I';ll give it a miss for now even if the specs are good.


now whats the best way to kill my old  pooped lipos, overcharge / nail / vice .... ooo the options.

Soak in salt water for a few days. As I';ve read, this will make the chemistry in the batteries go inert.

Then they can be tossed aside if no charge is read from the batteries, just like regular trash.

Your local zoning laws may have a say so be aware.
