What 4 in 1 is this?

Just looking at this schematic of the Pixhawk from 3DR and it shows a 4 in 1 module.

[attach=1]

I cant find a 3DR making a 4in1 but it was not something I had considered.

I was planning on running afro 20a on a HT Flip Pro with SS 980KV on 3s. But is 4in1 a smarter neater installation. Is there an advantage to keeping the weight central. Wheat is considered the best 4in1 for multis?

Can anyone point me to a thread where this comparison has already been thrashed. Tried search and is surprisingly threw up nothing

Looks like it could be a hobbywing 4 in 1.

Having used one heres my list of positives and negatives: (mine was an Emax 25a)

Positives -

- Neat / Tidy

Negatives -

- Heavier than 4x comparable ESCs
- Spare parts are hard if not impossible to come by, i.e. just try and find a replacement single esc board without having to buy a whole other unit.
- Poor heat dissipation, they';re not under the rotors and are crammed together for a start
- The supposed simon K ones have low voltage protection (go figure)
- Surprisingly difficult to program (the one I had at least)
- Poor design, the capacitors come out of the side, not velcro strap friendly
- Uses up a central slot that could house something else like FPV gear rather than unused arms
- Screw in pressure type fittings for cables, not good on a vibration hog multirotor.

So... Doesn';t weigh up well, I used one because I was setting up a 250 quad and just didnt have room on the arms, I guess its more down to necessity rather than preference or it was in my case at least.
