This is where it started - the quad frames we mentioned on chat

The first attempt

A slight variation

Boom grips - but you can just clamp down on square tube - Note the brass nut  inserts just needs 3mm bolts and away you go.

At the moment it';s using 19mm diameter booms but you can use anything from 8mm to 22mm round or square section. It';s just a single parameter on the CAD drawing that the machine cuts from so customers can specify boom style and diameter without any extra cost

If you find yourself in danger of being taken seriously, then try to do something which undermines or sabotages that perception in some way.

Final Flight tests will be done 1st week Jan, no problems expected so the website should be up and running by around 10th Jan. Production of the first commercial frames will be w/c   14/1/2013.

Cost with standard 2 Axis camera gimbal is expected to be below £450.

Again, its customer choice. Currently its running at 106cm across the furthest motors and using 11" X 5 props on Tiger MT2218 motors (4s). But the booms can be supplied up to 160cm and any motor/prop configuration you want.

able to fit 15 " prop??

WOW , yep if you want that amount of power you can - To avoid resonance you would need to move the legs out to the edges of the booms (more near the prop center)  or better still move the legs into the middle and reverse them so they slope outwards.
