Hi
First off, let me say i am not knocking eCalc in anyway, shape or form.

the question;
how accurate are the results? put both setups into eCalc (see below) to try and to calculate flight times. eCalc said 4.6Min';s fly time, 6.4 fly time mixed and 16.7Min';s hover.
in reality i got 24Min';s and 55seconds flight time, doing hard climbs to approx 100m (limits set on Nazca) and flying hard around the garden are (its just less than a Acre).
so, why are the numbers so different? can we take any truth out of these numbers what so ever?

setup (nr2)
XAircraft 650 Pro Frame
T-Motor - MT2814 - 770kv motors - 4nr
plat pro esc
Areonaugh CamCarbon 12x6 blades
9000mAh lipo - int rest .6 m Ohm
all up weight (measure on Weighed Watches Scales - new they would be usefull for something) 2795g

From my experience it gives you a good idea of how well things will work together, flight times will vary but then there are so many factors that will come into play that they cant model in the software.
I fly stuff

Flyinegypt

I just tried it out for my setup. I found my flight times are roughly double what it predicts. I am using 80% battery capacity as my cut off. I guess it depends on the parameters used in the programme for voltage cut off.

Biffa

I struggled with it when setting up my first quad as it said my configuration wouldn';t fly.

I haven';t bothered with it since.

Hello
Interesting comments. Have got some additional motors to use with a 6S 10k mAh lipo, eCalc says 14 mins flying time, but will be interested to see what happens. Whatcha this space.

I posted here too when I tried putting in the stock gear for a F550.

According to Ecalc, I should not have got off the ground although surprisingly they didn';t list DJI stuff so must have been something in that.

I may be dumb, but my learning curve is high...
