Taranis/ Giant shark question

Hi All,

I"m just about to splsah the cash with giant shark on the Taranis which are back in stock but does anyone know what he warranty preoid is and who with ?

I would guess the standard 1 year and despite what they may say, it will be down to GS to sort out any warranty claims, as your contract is with them (as a retailer) not the manufacturer.

One of the switches went on mine and T9 sent a replacement out the next day, not sure you';ll get the same service from Giantshark..

Warranty as already said is with giant shark but would give them a miss if I was you and try and find it else where. There is a long thread on model flying.co.UK here http://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=84143 and they look to be struggling with stock and customer care. Have a look and make your own decision all I am doing is pointing it out.

I have noticed that their stock on a lot of gear is non existent, makes you wonder what is going on, and I too wouldn';t buy a high value item from them.

I placed an order with them last week and had no issues, got it in a timely manor.  Granted it was a small order of a couple of the the few things that were in stock.

Giant Shark are a Joke, a bad joke, use T9, I speak from experience.
