Programming Hobbywing Plat Pro 30amp ESC

as the title says, i am trying to programme my ESC. i have read the user (less) manual that cam with them, but cannot work out what if anything needs to be done, or how to do it.

in short, i have not got a clue. so if any one would like to explain the hole process to me, i woulod be very greatfull.

No one bothers programming ESCs because it';s not worth running ESCs with regular firmware that needs programming.

If you get ESCs that come with SimonK firmware or else flash your ESCs with the improved firmware manually then you wont need to worry about programming at all. It removes all the useless options that are only really for planes and helicopters and makes the ESCs perform much better for multirotor use.

If you really have to use the ESCs as they are make sure you set them to NiMh mode. This will prevent them shutting down when they get a low voltage reading from your lipo which would otherwise cause your quadcopter to fall out of the sky.

Hobbywing Plat Pro is a professional ESC with firmware specifically for Multis.. its very smooth and just as good if not better than SimonK (They work with pancake high pole count motors)

You can also upgrade the Plat Pro firmware.. either with the programmer.  or through a USB linker..

You can program using throttle.. but tbh its a pain.. better to get a cheap programmer..

You also use it a Lipo Checker and to update the firmware..

Nimh
Timing will be dependent on your motors.
Throttle Cut normal
Low volts cut off.
Cut off Soft
Start mode normal
