New Goodies!!

So I';ve built a APM 550 Hex,  a Crius 450 quad,  a Crius 330 quad and an APM TBS Discovery. I';ve not got a tricopter and I';ve never tried KK boards.

So I got myself a turnigy talon tricopter and all these goodies arrived this morning to keep me entertained for a while. Can';t beat a box of goodies from China.

Must admit I do fancy trying a tricopter, they always seem to fly really well

Has anybody tried afro escs or turnigy motors? Most of my fleet have rc timer motors and escs so it';s all new to me.

That';s what I was thinking. I got the frame second hand off somebody on here ages ago. Finally getting round to having a play. It came with a servo too so hopefully should have all I need to get it flying. Just realised I haven';t got a programming cable for the kk2.1. Oops.

Yep, I have them on my 550, I think they';re as good as anything for the dosh.  Afro';s are noticeably better than non-SimonK esc';s (IMHO).

P.S to clarify:  I have Turnigy';s on two of my multi';s and Afro';s on one.  The Turnigy';s are not the ';best'; motors, but are reasonable cheap ';workhorses';.

Cool. Cheers for that Andy. All my escs are flashed with Simon K.  I just fancied a change really. Read a few decent things about them. So I took the plunge. Watch this space. :-)

I';m also using 30a afro';s on my disco and they seem to be working very well.

KK2';s are really great fc';s, no bells and whistles but work just fine for most of what you will want to do; v1.6++ is the best firmware to go for!

yes I have afro ESC';s on my tri and turnigy D2822/17 motors on mini quad, they both fly (and crash) really well.
