I am so fed up with this weather !!! When is the wind and rain gonna give up !!! I cant wait for longer days and a chance to get some proper fling in !!!

Spyrotechnics

Annoying me too, there is so much flooding here that would look really interesting from the air, just way too windy the take off :(

We';ve had a couple of days when the wind has dropped remarkably, but then everyone goes out to do their "stuff".  The effects of the weather are quite striking here in parts of Kent, some of it has made the news (Yalding).  Sadly, I';ve had no opportunity to go out and FPV or LOS video in those brief gaps.

Mind you, I';d rather it were settled and calm so that we don';t have to face these hazards.

Yeah, it';s a real pain, in contrast to last year, i flew on new year';s day in dazzling sunshine, the day i crashed my cx4 and bust the sub-standard legs!  A year on, and they are repaired better than new, awaiting a good testing out with the newly attached H3-2D, so roll on good weather please.
Anyhow i';m back to the grind now, so weekends only

teslahed

I';ve got new 5 inch carbon fibre props for the Teslaquad that need testing and my new Mini H quad is so close to being ready for it';s first proper flight that i really can';t wait. Shame about the weather.

and its doesn';t look like this crappy weather is going to give up for a while yet, luckily we haven';t had any bad flooding up here.

tell you one thing though, i wouldn';t fancy being in parts of the US or Canada from the news report i saw earlier, 5 minutes outdoors and your eyes balls could freeze up  :o

Needless to say we will get their weather when they have finished with it LOL !!!
So it is sure to be arctic conditions here next !!! At least we will be able to fly in the snow !!!

Typically the wind and rain only stop when I';m in work, so no flying for me :-(

From what i was reading over the weekend this actually is "their" weather, just not with the frozen bits.

You can see here (recent time: http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/isobaric/1000hPa/orthographic=-37.85,36.93,398 ) where the air currents are coming from.

Throughout, the cold air has dropped towards the south, warmed up, then come back up to the UK in an anti-clockwise pattern, bringing with it all of this "moisture"
