I am hoping there is a solution to my problem.

I have the Rabbit FC sitting on X525 frame, I brought it second hand :slap:

I have been able to run through the calibration process with all the correct beeps but when I try and take off it just flips over. I am guessing that I have the channels mixed up.

I am using the Jacked Rabbit GUI and input channels all correspond to the TX action,  what should the output Channel variables be doing?

:banghead:

PS also I am using V:1.212 really have no idea how to update this firmware if could help with that you will receive guru status :notworthy:

Please help!!

Angry hornet

Wow! Ok!
So I have been going through the process of elimination and found that M3 and M4 were plugged into each other';s ports...... Oops! :frantic:

I have had a couple of flights/hovers now and really enjoying it a lot!  ::)

I am having some stability problems but figure it';s just fine tuning the stability controls ect..

Could anyone give me a bit of advice on what they have theirs set at?

Also has anyone had problems with the ultrasonic module not initialising and stoping the rabbit from discovering it or going into breathing mode?

I have had to uncheck it in the GUI this allows me to get the rabbit into the breathing mode.

Do you think it';s the rabbit FC or the Ultrasonic module?

Kind regards

I used the Rabbit for about 3years, its an excellent FC!.

Get rid of that ultrasonic, only good under 2.5meters and does not work (almost at all) on grass I found. The standard settings on the FC are perfect, make sure all your arms are straight and make sure all your motors are pointing straight up and form a perfect square (shaft to shaft). Then make sure your CG is spot on and the rabbit will be your best friend, alter any of those and you will be in for a bumpy ride. Get the latest firmware installed as well, think its 1.231 (it was released about april 2013 I think), you might need to short the ';reset'; pins while you do the update coming from 1.212 otherwise it will fail at about 58%.

The board is awesome and I hope you have fun. I am still using my modified X525 frame on my big quad but its now using a Full Naze32 instead.
