Tried it again tonight with 20% expo on ailerons and elevator, much better a lot easier to control but I';m beginning to see what you fans of this FC are on about, it does need you to concentrate on what you are doing, there is more involvement to fly it! Very different to the Crius, but in a good way; it';s like the difference between riding a tricycle compared to a bicycle!

I will do an update on the design to what I currently have and then send it to you, what format do you want it in?

I have to add that after the last few flights where I have been doing a bit more than just hovering I have shown up a flaw, it';s too heavy!
This probably explains why it seems so stable, the others I';ve now looked at in more detail are quite a bit lighter!
My 25C and 40C batteries have come down quite warm and I';ve not attempted any aeros yet; the hover was over 1/2 throttle and fast climb was not in the same league as my Crius quad. I';ve also just noticed that HK have changed the rating of the motors I';ve used from 200W on 3S to 189W (2826 1100kv ntm propdrive), no big deal but if I';d have known I would have had the 1000kv ones.
So it';s back to the drawing board!

ATTICMAN

Motors are 2826 1000kv ntm propdrives from HK, batteries are Turnigy 3S 2200 25C and 40C, the 40C come down cooler than the 25C but not as cool as when they are used in my 450 flamewheel with rctimer 2212 1000kv motors. The esc';s and motors are cool and I';m only running 8x4.7 props; it does weigh just over 1 kilo all up weight most others I';ve looked at are significantly lighter.

Cloudbuster

Good work !!! Nice stable quad, bet it is a lively little beastie ...

Regards rob

It';s very nice to fly, I';ve not really pushed it yet but for more serious aeros I think it';s way too heavy; looking like it would make a nice camera platform - shame that I';m not really interested that way at the moment so I shall most likely dismantle it and start again keeping things much lighter.
