Which Sonar?

Which sonar is suitable for this board and megapirate, Where are they available from?

The recommended one is the DYP-ME007v2 shown in the picture below but I have a feeling any of them will work as ive used all types on the rabbit

I used to get the red DYP-ME007v2 from here http://www.goodluckbuy.com/ultrasonic-wave-detector-ranging-module-distance-sensor.html although it lists it as a v1 every one I know that got them received a v2

I will give some of the 4 pin ones a try on megapirate as they are much easier to get just do a search on ebay for HC-SR04

The sonar on megapirate doesnt work as well as others do, but its worth a try
it was more important when we had the crap bmp085 baro the new ms5611 should be able to do the job better, I will test a 4 pin jobby tomorrow and let you know if it works ok as my board has MPNG on it

Secret man have you used the 4 pin sonar's on megapirate Im pretty sure I have but cant remember 100%

I have ordered a couple of the  DYP-ME007v2 from GLB. At @£7 for two including shipping it gives a spare for a future project and as it's the recommended unit it's a no brainer!
