400 Wooden H quad

I thought it was about time I got my finger out and did something!
For a while I';ve fancied having a go at a H frame so in order to use bits I';d got and to satisfy another line of thought I';d got I made it 400 size, which is the smallest I could make using 8" props without making things complicated.
Construction is 15mm sq softwood and 3mm hardwood ply.
I';ve used the dreaded ntm propdrive 1100kv motors, 30A simonk esc';s and at the moment a kk2 fc on 1.6++ firmware.
I';ve mounted the arms on rubber grommets to try and damp the ntm';s vibes - this is the train of thought thing!
At the moment it';s crudely lashed together but well enough to give it a maiden flight - the confines of my tiny back garden is not the best place but hey ho - when it';s properly assembled I can give it a whizz.
This is intended to be my beater quad to try and learn acros with.
When I can get my head around which wires go to what on the Acronaze I';ve got it will replace the kk2 - but until I';m 100% confident that I';m not going to brick it by connecting it up wrong I';m steering clear! Any advice on how to set it up would be gratefully received, especially piccies!!!
Anyhow piccies and maiden vid:

Looks good Darrell

What is worrying you about wiring up the naze32?

The user manual isn';t the best but does have the info you need

I';ve looked at the manual and basically stuck when I see that wrong connections will brick it - one of my problems I';m afraid  :(
until I can see exactly what to connect to where I just can';t go any further  :frantic:
I';m using an AR500 rx so it has 5 channels, what I really want to know is where the leads go and which way up plus how the esc leads are connected including which (if any) have the power from the esc';s bec connected.
The icing on the cake would be how to get different modes using the spare channel (Gear switch).
I';ve connected it to my PC using baseflight so can see how easy it is to configure once everything is connected up.

Chicken  ;D!

All 4 of my ESCs have all three wires still connected ~~ the highest pin on the front connectors are the signal.
I';m using PPM so I only have 1 rx lead connected, but the on top row of the horizontal mounted pins the one closest to the front of the board is the negative supply to the rx the next one along the positive and then the rest are the signal pins for ch1,2.3,ch 4 signal pin is the next row down closest to the front again, your switch would be assigned to ch5(on your tx) and you could then program that to do what you wanted.

philtrum

on the underside of the board where the esc';s connect is the legend to explain which way up

just checked its on the top too ... the signal pin goes at the top
positive in middle
negative at bottom

hope that helps
Phil
Many Thanks

I think probably the best thing for me to do is connect it up the way I think it should be and post a piccie before I try and power it up, I know this sounds a bit daft but it';s my old problem rearing its ugly head again!!!
