450 Quads

Just got a SK450 from HobbyKing and was wondering how compatible it is with other makers 450 parts like arms and frame plates?

looking at he arms i think there different size mounting hole making this quad very specific so would pay to order some spares just in case

Indeed, I don';t believe it is compatible with the usual DJI style quads.

Right I';ll watch out for that. I';m more after the frame plates, I';ve seen some on ebay just not sure they';ll fit. These look like the same hole spacings, I';ve messaged the seller to check.

i bought the sk450 but sold it and got a genuine dji, nicer quality and only worked out a little extra once you start adding esc';s and motors to a clone

( go with the propper parts ) dji parts will not fit, including the items you listed )

i dyed my sk450 arms black with rit dye, very easy to do and a ton of different colours to choose from, £3.50 on ebay

heres the parts list, p.s the pcb top plate is really nice and cleans up the wiring. good luck

+1 You can also dye the white nylon stand offs and all sorts of plastic parts

 I got the HK one as a cheap project while I wait on parts for the hexa but got to say I like the size of it now I';ve got it so might invest in the DJI one at some point but going to get this in the air before I spend any more money unless I see a used one for sale maybe :-)
