Find googles

Hi,

So my first drone that I build I decided to go analogue for two reasons:
  • It is not too expensive and with decent camera can still have a good picture,
  • I already had googles from my starter set that I got initially (BetaFPV Cetus Pro)

So it reduced the cost barrier a lot given the initial expense was soo high to get me going as I had to buy transmitter, good charger, bunch of LiPos and drone itself.

However the long term plan is to switch to HDZero system (A.K.A Sharkbyte?). So I was looking at Fatshark googles and I really liked the Attitude V6, basically I am looking up to £300 for google and I am not really into those boxy googles. Another alternative was Skyzone SKY04L V2 Lite. Two problems here:
  • I don't know what is going on but wherever I look most of FPV googles are out of stock except the ones above £300.
  • As I intend to use HDZero I am not sure how can I mount the receiver to SKY04L V2 Lite.

So does anyone know where I could find a decent googles up to £300, not box format googles and can:
  • Have focus adjustment ( I have glasses),
  • Can accommodate HDZero?

As for the DJI system, way too expensive and I am not really desperate for super image quality as I don't intend to record for show.

Give HobbyRC an email as they will probably have a rough idea when the V6 are coming in.
I try :-)

Given your criteria the Attitude V6 are pretty much the only option. I can vouch for the image quality, it's exactly what you would expect at the price point and completely usable. The fact that £300 gets you everything in one box for analogue is significant.

'Better' image quality only comes at a significantly increased price given you need to buy module + antennas as well as the goggles.

I use Eachine EV200D Goggles for Analogue.  With two diversity receivers, a Pagoda and a TBS Patch each side, so four antenna, the reception is very good, clear, and has been totally reliable.

Control is good with one minor niggle, the time hanging on a button necc to boot the board DVR. (start and stop is fine, its that first boot, and that is ALL I can find against it.

The fan is near silent, never had misting. Adjustment range is very good, easy for me to find a decent setting.

So it appears that Fatshark attitude V6 are not bring made anymore. So I might go for Skyzone 04L Lite V2.
