Seems to me the 200d's are currently shown listing at above their correct price point, they just don't undercut the established brands by anyway near enough, esp since many will have to stump up for diopters.

I'm a little puzzled by the EV100's and people's comment re: more limited FOV, as I have set up side by side all the headsets I have and the Ev100s and they near match on actual FOV.  The image is of course smaller, but the FOV isn't really different to any marked extent.

This is against Quanum V2 (with lens not fresnel), GearBest's "wheel focus" headset (2 of with differing VRX), and the VR007 and VR006 sets.

The FOV is the size of the image from your eyes,  so how much the screen fills your vision.   Not how much the actual camera picture shows, as that is determined by the camera lens.

The ev100 are really small,  like watching a 32in TV from across a big room.   I tried quite a few out at a local meeting the other day.   The dominator HD3s had the biggest picture at 40deg FOV.   But they are damn steep!

I've used a Samsung gear VR quite a bit, so I was probably expecting similar when I tried the headsets,  and was quite underwhelmed with most of them to be honest.   I'm sure I'd adapt given a bit of time.   But I'm thinking I might actually prefer a box set.   Just a shame they are bulkier

For me the problem with box goggles is their size and weight. They are not as easy to just raise to your forehead so you can go and collect your downed quad and my quad spends a lot of time down  ::)  plus transporting box goggles takes more space I  rucksack. For the money and never testing fatsharks I am very pleased with my ev100.
I try :-)

Glad to have friends discussing EV100.
Eachine EV100 has passed the test of time and has some updates.
It now has enough stock in the UK warehouse and is on promo.
