Hi folks. Not been in to Quads for a while
but wanted to add a runcam split nano 3 to a 2.5 Inch quad I have. Its a 20x20mm runcam board with m2 holes. Problem is the 20x20mm fc board l'm using is m3 holes. I dont want to double side tape the runcam to the FC so I've glued the m2 stand off to the m3 nuts to mount it. Dont know if it will withhold a crash mind you. Im guessing there is no m3 to m2 adapters?

Thsnks folks

Have only met this sort of issue once and I used stripped silicone electrical cable outer of the right size for the larger holes to make a resiliant noise reducing mounting. It squeezes out to fit and hold nicely as its tightened.

I would just use M2 stand-offs for everything.  having M3 holes in the FC is quite unusual I would I have though, even more so on a 20x20.

Could you elaborate on that? Lol

Yes I know. Was going to change them all to M2 stand offs but my fear is the Fc would move.

What he is suggesting is to put the insulation as a tube over the m2 bolt to pad it out to the m3 hole in your FC. That way the FC can't move and actually gets a bit of vibration isolation.
Hope that helps?
I try :-)
