Poor range on R-XSR with ACCESS - NEW FW Out!!!!

I switched to FrSky from FlySky to get smaller rx and better reception. The R-XSR is nice and small but I didn't get a great range improvement.
It appears that FrSky have now released a new FW for R-XSR (2019-11-08 V1.1.4) that 'Fix the issue that wrong RSSI values output.' New R-XSR FW V1.1.4 - 8th Nov 2019
So hopefully that means the RSSI warnings I was getting were due to iffy FW.
Not tested it yet but hopefully it will help.
I try :-)

Finally managed to get out to fly today.
The updated FW is giving much much better RSSI values. The older FW I was getting below 40 just across the width of a football field!!! Now I am getting above 70.
Obviously I have no idea if the numbers are real but I am hopeful and unfortunately I only had a football field to fly round so no real test of distance.
That said, there are HV power cables going diagonally over the field and they do interfere with 5.8Ghz video so I guess they don't help 2.4Ghz signals.

So far the new FW seems to give higher readings hopefully that does mean a stronger signal.
I try :-)
