Hello everyone, Yes a real newbie here, I hope this message finds you all well?
A bit about myself before I possibly bore you all.
60th birthday tomorrow, I ride a FXSB Breakout Harley Davidson, have a 1972 Beach Buggy built by myself, also two Kawasaki 1000cc streetfighters. My daily is a GMC/Chevrolet Z71 4x4 pick up and although old still love to explore things.
I purchased from BangGood a Eachine 250 racer quad copter with the intention of taking aerial photography of my new home in Bulgaria.
It arrived virtually bare? being very Green thought everything would be in the box Point and Shoot? NOT.
I';ve since purchased Flysky I6 controller after receiving that did some more investigation and found I needed FS-IA6 receiver now in possession.
YES! I can connect the loom to main circuit board but there are 6 maybe 7 black terminals which are all colour coded but no instructions as to where they go on the 2.4ghz receiver.
Being a real Newbie to this could I ask please for someone to take the time in pointing me in the right direction? Wiring and possibly control';s on hand set.
It isn';t the technical side that worries me it';s the fact I know if I place wrong connection';s will possibly fuse or blow the receiver.
I have also a Eachine monitor Led screen for viewing and cannot see anywhere to record, I thought it would take Micro sd card but nothing found.
All these items have come without any instructions what so ever and trying to find just wiring diagram has set my security into meltdown, Trojans etc.,
This is the only site I have been able to connect to for info.
BangGood have not been helpful in the slightest, I hope someone understands my predicament.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Serious Newbie!
WillZee.

:welcome: If you can post links to the products you bought that will help us find out what FC (Flight Controller) you have. Then someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
You are right about connecting incorrectly can damage things so good to ask.
It is a bit of a steep learning curve but I am sure there are enough people here to help you.
I try :-)

Hi Onyeredson and welcome.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you';re aiming to do AP (aerial photography), then the Eachine Racer isn';t really the right model for the job, of course it can do it but it';s a bit like picking a sports bike for a long journey instead of a tourer.

Having said that, how it connects up will depend on what receiver you bought. If it';s an IA6B, you can roughly follow this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKMgqvp9jEk . Obviously you';ll want to put your receiver in a safe place, probably inside the quad, and secure it there with some tape or a cable tie. But it shows how to connect it.

For recording the video, you';ll want a 5.8GHz receiver with DVR. But bear in mind that you';ve got a racing quad, not an aerial photography quad. The camera on the front is designed to give an image for piloting the quad, it';s designed with low latency in mind, not image quality and the picture will be very poor.

You can put a gopro or similar on top, the racer even has a dampening pad to hold one and reduce vibrations, but once you';ve got used to flying it, it might not be the kind of scenic images you';re expecting, especially while you';re learning and not fully able to control the quad for smooth footage.

EDIT: Also, don';t know if you';re aware, but the PNP version it sounds like you bought doesn';t come with a battery either.

As said , you bought a 250 racer, may not be suitable for what you want to do but loads of fun. Plenty of information available on youtube. Also if you are still having problems connecting please let us know what flight controller you bought with it as there are 3 options available.

Also get some spare 5030 props and batteries ordered from hobbyking
