good afternoon everyone please bare with me i am new to the forum but hello to you all nice to meet you.

to put it short i am struggling with my s1000 with fly time and batterys my set up is as follows
1 x s1000
1 x wookong
1 x z15 gimbal 5d mk3
1x cannon 5d

now i know its heavy so i did what most would think and get a bigger battery so i went from 10,000 to a 16,000 i am still getting 5 mins of flight? is this right? what is my safe limit to drop the drone i was told 21.9 volts is this correct as when i charge the batterys its not taking a long time to recharge am i being to safe with flying i.e soon as i see the power going down i do get a bit ekkkk and land could somebody place me under there wing and help

p.s would buyng a 20,000 size battery do any more or am i wasting money or maybe 2x 10.000 in series etc many thanks again chris

using voltage isn';t really  accurate, each battery has a different characteristic depending on load/make/c rating/ age / temperature etc etc

best thing to do is see how much goes back in when you charge them after flying exactly 5 mins, then calculate your potential flight time from that, knock off 20% and you have your safe flight time.

dirtyharry

oh and longer flight times are nearly always better had with less weight and efficient motors/props

many thanks for your advice i will do just that and report back
