Ok lesson learned, don't faff about with an Armed Multirotor!

Funny thing happened today, I just got done soldering the header pins on my new Rotorgeeks SSD FC removed the CC3D and fitted to the quad, set it up in Betaflight and I took it outside to test it, for some reason the pitch and roll were reversed, so I landed it went into my Tx menu to swap them over as I went to exit the menu the shitty spektrum roller wheel went back one place as I clicked to exit (I didn';t notice) and it reversed the pissing throttle instead of exiting!!, as I was on the ground with the throttle stick in the full down position needless to say the bloody thing shot up into the sky like a bat out of hell, at first I was panic mode engaged! and what the hell is going on? I quickly realized what I had done and managed to crash land it fairly gently, nothing broken luckily.

I quickly learnt another lesson today, don';t ****** about with an armed drone. stupid stupid, always disarm even if your not touching the model itself.

Lol lessen 2 mate is even when you have disarmed it Sod';s law is when you walk up to it an lean over the arm switch will catch on something, flip back to arm and you will nudge the throttle causing the quad to leap up just as you bend down over it

Was it armed with props turning?if not good idea is set the quad up to spin props when armed so you know when its armed and not armed.

This is the reason I';m about to program a 2 switch arming sequence! It is so easy to catch the arm switch!

With all this bad weather and flying small indoor quads that couldn';t harm a fly I have picked up bad habits. I started to test hover larger quads inside and forgot to turn off on the throttle kill switch, shredded my finger end as I picked it up. Luckily the prop rotation was kind to me and it only wore through the nail instead of ripping it off. Didn';t cut the end but shredded it away, the only thing I could do to stop the blood was clot it with kitchen roll.

I';ts one of the first DX6i it';s not even DSM2. definitely doesn';t give any warning.
