Hi everyone,

In cleanflight when I use the page that spins up the motors my motors are in a differdnt order, for example I move the slider for motor 1 up and the motor that spins is actually motor 3 on my quad, now this is because I wired it wrong to the naze,

My question is as long as my motors are spinning in the correct directions does it matter if they are in a different order to clean flight,

I ask because when I attach my props and try a test flight the quad goes crazy and flies off into walls  :banghead:

Motor order is vital , even if they are spinning in the right direction  it dosen';t mean it will fly.
The quad is kept level by speeding up  or slowing down each motor as it detects an axis going off the base level setting. if the motors are in the wrong order it will flip the a/c  over.

The reason will be they are soldered to the wrong signal pads.

The solutions are:
1sppder them to the right signal pads
Or
2. Put a custom mix in that redefines them
Or
3. Use the resources command to re assign the pads (this is only available on betaflight or the latest cleanflight release which is based on bf3.1 and is only available for some boards)

IMHO dont faff about doing custom mixing.

bite the bullet

unsolder your fc connections

solder them the right way round this time.
