So

After read pages on google i';m very confused

So i want build one drone for fpv and areal video/photo

What is good choise? Quad or hexa?

Important points : flight time, maybe later upgrade and not mutch expensive (600/700dolars)

With frames i have choise
Quad : tarot fy650
Hexa : tarot fy680

Thank you

Friskle

people have thier own choices, last year with buliding so many , i decided to have a change and bought a Typhoon H for Video etc, built a couple of F550`s in the past becaue overall a Hex handles wind better than a quad, and also yo have that redundancy , if one motor/prop fails it can still land rather than jusst fall.

After flying so many and since flying the H compared to my Quads, i wold definately choose a Hex over a quad.

+1

If you';re building a multi rotor for photographic purposes you may as well build a hex. More stable and, depending on motors etc, able to carry more weight.

i change my motor for the tarot one http://www.tarot-rc.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=75&products_id=1076

perfect 4s and 13';'; carbon prop you cant put bigger prop exept  if you put the 690s motor mount on the 680 i got 1/4 inch clearaance only

http://www.tarot-rc.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72&products_id=1015

fly on 3s but not for long i can lift a dslr easy on 4s but i i had to have the choice again i probably go for 6s

http://www.tarot-rc.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=75&products_id=1183 same motor but lower kv

the platform became so stable with this setup it';s crasy befor i was on 10';'; prop and 3s and for a gopro it';s ok

depend what you want to do with it, what camera you want to put on ?
better an hex if a motor burn can still fly not on a quad..

a big quad with big eng probably good for no more than a gopro but less stable
with my current setup on 5000 mh 4s i got 8 min with a dslr on board , on 6s and right engine will do better and i run twin pac, of 2s for 6s you run 2 3s pack that cheap out the price a bit and you just buy an other battery holder and your machine is perfect balance i prefer having all motor run same rpm tan compensate for a big pack just on one side

pixhawk is the way to go search for a good clone and dont look back except if your thinking about a naza
distribution board important round and hollow to pass all the wire and with a bec on it for power all your thing camera gimbal etc  i got this one
http://www.thanksbuyer.com/j-and-k-led-glare-power-distribution-board-pitch-power-supply-hub-esc-connection-board-with-10-blue-led-26751?page=2

choose well and you will buy one time not 2-3 hahah

I';d say a y6 instead of a hexa. You have the same redundancy but because the front arms can fold its much more compact.
