new to the drone Scene and thought id say hello, currently got a Yuneec Typhoon G but looking at getting a CGo3 camera for it instead of the GoPro setup, may ask a few questions along the way :)

couple of things on my agenda to be honest

I can';t help you out much regarding the camera. But regarding the battery, it depends on what charge rate the battery will cope with. Generally the charge rate for a lipo is 1c, which would be 6A with the Typhoon';s 6000mAh battery. If yours is taking over 1.5hrs I suspect that it';s charging at something like 3-4A. It may be the case that the battery isn';t safe to charge at 1c, but that would be unusual for a lipo.

First thing is to get a definitive allowable charge rate. If you can';t, don';t risk charging faster and stick with the stock setup. If you can, you';ll have to find a way to connect it to a standard charger. That charger will have to be about 80w to be able to charge at 6A on 3s.

Firstly welcome to the forum, you will find a wealth of knowledge within this forum, so pour yourself a drink, kick back and ask away.

When charging lipo';s you need to be extremely careful, the aim is to obviously charge the lipo but also to charge it in a way that does not shorten it';s useable life. If you charge too quickly, the. You will damage it, shorten it';s life and potentially have it catch fire. Lipos store and amazing amount of power. YouTube is littered with Lipos on fire. The first sing of problems is a lipo that starts puffing. I personally would advise either a Lipo charging bag or as I have done, get an ammo case drill a few holes in the lid. And charge your Lipos in it.
The lower charge rate you use, the less potential damage you';ll do to the batteries and the longer they will live
