hello

someone can help me?

what is the best motors from tarot 680?

i want make areal video

thank you

LuMan

A good question, sloth711. I was looking at upgrading the motors on my S550 to improve the lift. As I see it, a smaller kv suits bigger props, and some outlets, like unmanned tech shop, suggest motors for heavy lift.

Also, look for performance tables, as they show how much thrust a motor has for particular battery and prop size, like this:
https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/mt-3510-600kv-multicopter-motor/
Scroll down and you get all manner of info, including thrust tables.

Sorry I can';t suggest an actual motor, but I hope the info helps you choose
Potensic F181DH  -  Ghost 250 (blue)  -  Cheerson CX-10/A  -  Syma X11C  -  FQ777-FQ17W  -  Eachine E57  -  BetaFPV 65S  -  Robocat 280 (in build)  -  Ghost 250 LED (in build) - And lots of broken stuff!

As said in the other thread, it depends on the cell count and the prop size. If it';s 6s with 11-12" props as you said in the other thread, the motors LuMan suggested would do.

To get a base line  start by working backwards by weight,  ie what camera are you going to use , will it be gimbal mounted ?.  What flight time are you requiring, add the weight of frame ,r/x  the battery and motor combination can be then factored in.  Higher kv with smaller props gives a faster responce but you will lose efficency. Low kv with large props better flight time but not so manuverable.
When you have sorted that lot out, add a safety factor, most quoted  mfg  specs  are rather enthusiastic.

If you take a look at Peter king';s spec, then X-3508 or RC Timer X4';s:-

Quick Overview
This is our Tarot 680 pro series Pixhawk with Neo 8 GPS controlled Hexacopter system.

It has the powerful X-3508 motors and 12" carbon fibre props as standard. It is a fully carbon fibre frame with built in landing gear.

If you select the X8R receiver or Taranis combo then we include the Mavlink telemerty module as standard.

It comes with a carbon effect hood to keep electronics safe inside (do not fly these in the rain!).

These have a lot of lift so you can use a 4S 10,000mAh or 2 x 4S 5200mAh lipos per flight giving you about 30 minutes even when carrying a gimbal and camera gear.

Please read the full description below to understand the configuration options.
