What is this board?

Hi all,
Happy New Year!
Going through all the plastic containers of ';stuff'; that seem to have accumulated over the last few years of building and flying (NY';s resolution), and came across this board in one of the boxes of gimbal spares and gimbal control boards....I have no idea what it is, or what it is for.....can some kind soul please remind me? I don';t even know if it should be in the ';Gimbal stuff'; box!

Any help/guidance greatly appreciated.

the large chip looks to be an ST L6234 often used for Brushless Gimbal controllers

since there';s only one on the board, it';s probably an addon board for Yaw axis

Ages ago I bought it when using the 2 axis 8 bit boards.

Just sorted out odd bits and bobs and put them on Freebies.
