I think I have just sorted out my MCPX-BL heli.  So I am all enthusiastic about giving a go again.  I have 9 batteries I am charging up now and I might give it a fly...when it stops raining and the sun comes out...

I hope I have got it sorted this time and the tail motor keeps going......

I have just got in from flying my MCPX-BL in the park and it managed SIX WHOLE BATTERIES without the tail motor failing!

YAY!

The fix was either the Re-soldering of the tail motor wires, bypassing a horrible little 3 pin connector or moving the anti-rotation swashplate pin to the rear and using a custom carbon fibre AR guide that I have previously not used before...

One thing that';s obvious there is hardly any vibration now..don';t know why, perhaps because the swash plate is supported at the rear now instead at the side.

Perhaps the vibration was throwing off the tail gyro...It really was not at all smooth and shook like a..really shaky thing.

Anyway, its great its fixed, it was one step away from going for a song on ebay as not working/for spares or the bin....
