Motors with 1050 min of thrust each? on Talon Hex Frame

Total newbie... Talon Hex Frame has arrived.  Building for stable video/photography.

Total estimated build, around 3000g inc a 20% overhead... / 6 requires 1000g of thrust per motor.

Plus a camera at 200g / 6 and rounded up to .50 from .33 results in a total of 1050g of thrust per motor (this is from basic reading, sorry if I';m way off the mark!).

Can anyone recommend a good motor that will delivery 1050g of thrust of over each?

End result, I';d like 10 ot 15 mins flight time but can live with 10.

Have you tried looking at http://www.ecalc.ch/xcoptercalc.php . It is a multi rotor calculator. You do have to pay to fully access it but not much in comparison to buying the wrong components!
The non paid version is limited to which components you can ';use'; but even this version might give you some ideas.
Give it a go and see what might work on the free version. If you can see value in it maybe pay for full version.
I try :-)

Thanks Ched... I came across that and didn';t fully understand all the other fields yet to make use of it (as far as I could tell).  Was hoping it may be as simple as someone offering a link to a motor of the required spec.  But I';m sure I';ll learn it';s never just that simple

I have no idea on a 625 size hex but I guessed at some numbers on the calc just to have a play.
I set no of rotors to 6 weight to 3000g, 12000mAh battery at 4S, Controller (ESC) at 50A, EMax BL3526-04 (860rpm/V), and 12 inch 4.7 props.
Although it marks weight as RED so something it doesn';t like. Just changed weight to 3.7kg and no RED
But 20mins flight time, All gauges in Green and masses of thrust to weight ratio.

Anyway its something to play with till you get someone who knows what they are talking about answers  ::)
I try :-)

Thanks Ched,

Really appreciate that, will have a play :)

Was looking at these:

http://www.hobbypartz.com/02p-motor-375-ms2216-kv1100.html

1155 of thrust and they';ll run on 3S with options of 8.5 or 10 props without hitting the max prop size of the motor...

Here you go, and save a bit of your hard earned!!!
http://www.banggood.com/SunnySky-X2216-2216-1250KV-Outrunner-Brushless-Motor-For-RC-Models-p-988393.html?rmmds=search
Banggood always supply genuine Sunnysky motors, I always buy from them for that reason; OK they are not T motor but they are as good quality - never had any problems with mine, I';ve used 2212 980kv, 2212 1400kv and the 2216 1250kv all have been bomb proof.

Thanks Darrell,

Using your recommendation as a base to search and compare, I think I';ve settled on these with 1047 props.

I feel a bit silly asking for advice then buying something different to the answer, so hoping I won';t regret it - but needed something to work from, so really do appreciate it matey.

Turnigy motors aren';t in the same league - I really wouldn';t go down that route. My advice was based on best value for money and reliability, it';s a bit hit and miss with Turnigy motors; the only Turnigy I can recommend are the SK3 motors, generally they are quite good but are more expensive - you get what you pay for.

Appreciate the input... haven';t hit the button yet, so think I';ll sleep on it and then take your advice :)
