Hi,

Being a newbie I';m trying to get as much info on this great hobby. I had not idea what KV really meant, so I found (and have now subscribed) to Kiwi'; RC Model Reviews.

He talks in laymans'; terms what KV means on motors. If your interested you can watch the YouTube video here:-

Yes, Bruce is a great ambasador for the addiction hobby, I too am an avid subscriber.
I saw this on his site and it got me all nostalgic:

I didn';t have a Pixie, but had this:

Interesting to see MacGregor industries are still going:

They also win the prize for ugliest radio ever!

(TBF they do have ';normal'; looking radios too, so not sure what that one';s about!)

Still using my JR. To look at it you wouldn';t know it';s 14yrs old...

Jeez...!  But then again, if you stare at it long enough, it actually starts to look quite ok?  I forgot they sort of became JR.  TBH, MacGregor used to be the poor man';s Futaba, I know, I was poor!
Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that eh? :wack0

I like the design of that, functional & business like.Easy to see switches.
But each to his own.

And at least the display is in the right place. Why oh why do so many transmitters have the display at the bottom? Ergonomic disaster!
