what to do with a faulty 4s lipo

So i have a nearly new mutistar 4s 5200, it has a dead cell, zero volts, i should send it back for aa replacement but its not worth the hassle, dont really want it hanging around, so what should i do with it, NOT going to drive a nail into it, i value what little hair i have and not got time to unwrap it and soak it in some weird chemical

He he,,,,its unlike me think logical tbh,,,,i would of run into the garden like a child with hammer and nails,,,did 2 like that a couple of weeks ago :-)

My best smoker so far a few months ago ! I even go back for a second hit with the hammer at 40 seconds in

Can you really just pull a cell out of a pack? I thought there was all manner of dark arts (or electronics) integrated into the LiPo pack, to make sure it tells the charging unit what';s going on....

Nope, just the right bits connected together, but you need to be very careful about it, they really do not like being shorted out. I remember some silly booger dropping a spanner in the battery tray of the stacker truck at work, it was hilarious - we never did find even bits of it, just scorch marks ::)
There could easily be a similarity if you';ve not got steady hands!

if it';s from hobbyking they will not want it sending back, just a video to show the fault and they will send a new one for free and you can do as you want with the faulty one.

Just submitted an RMA to HK with photo`s with luck i will get a replacement, then the old one gets nailed

getting a replacement, just hope it last longer, i will be keeping an eye on the cell volts on the other one i got and this new one
