I received my Rctimer AIOP (all in one pro) the other day and thought I would post a couple of pics

Hi John yes I have had the megapirateng firmware and the multiwii firmware installed and off the ground but on both occasions the weather has been foul and not really had the chance to test it properly, I had a quick fly (hover) in the rain this afternoon with multi wii and it seemed very good but just to short to really tell

Hi John Iam currently working on a guide for this board and have already uploaded the firmware to the forum for multi wii and megapirate all ready edited to suit the AIOP, I will post some more pictures shortly

Here's a few more pics of my AIOP build, as can be seen I have removed the yellow jumper and have powered the board through the extended power port, using a 3a Ubec the reason for this is because if the board is powered with the esc and the jumper in place then it doesnt supply power to the serial ports the exteneded power supply power to the whole board and the esc's are isolated

I have the Ubec plugged in to the balance plug on the battery so I can power the board and then the esc's

Hi Marty I think this is a bit more advanced than the one you reffered to as it doesnt have to use the i2c converter it has all the latest sensors to

I have a question for you Marty 
quite a few people asked me about this controller and how easy is it to setup and I normally answer easy but as someone who has been messing with multiwii for some time it is, but I'm beginning to think some of us that have been using it for some time may have become a little complacent, so I thought from a new user point of view it might look far from easy, what were your thought when you first started to use or saw multi wii, and do you think after using it for a short while you become quite familiar with it

The Multiwii when you first get it is a nightmare,no documentation and nothing to point you in the right direction.Though when you trawl the internet there' plenty of info,then youve to work out which one youve got.
In reality the main problems are understanding which area's need defineing in Confim H,then trying to upload,the difficult bit for me was the scetch getting it all to work and then the GUI to figure out.
So to give a honest answer if you are a total newcomer then go for a KK2,how ever if you like a challenge,then its manageable,but step by step no GPS etc,though I have one to try sometime,i think 2-3 months away from now.There will be many tears along the way,but that is overcome with much joy when it all comes together.Am i happy I bought it O yes.Its taxing but rewarding,and with your wounderfull community here,no question goes unaswered.
             Hope this makes sense,Marty.

Having said that I still believe it to be one of the best ways to get in to multi rotors as long as there is a little help along the way

I have only ever flown with a KK+ running Mike Barton's XXController (which is very good) however, I have purchased one of these Crius All In One Pro boards.  I am completely new to MultiWii but I have had some experience with Arduino so I am thinking of documenting the steps needed to get this thing flying.

As I won't be putting the GPS onto it straight away, I will be flashing the raw MultiWii code and then going throughthe very basic steps to getting it flying.  The GPS addon will be just using your code which is great you have gifted us all with it but not everyone would be going with GPS and I think the baby steps within the MultiWii code is useful if documented.

One area that someone new to MultiWii might wonder about, is how to change the PID values - or rather, in what increments to change them.

Hi,

I';ve basically got this same set-up. Crius AIO Pro, a V1.1 and a V2. I also have a couple of Bluetooth Modules and a CN-06 v2 GPS. First of all, big shout out to Gaza7 for the awesome documentation for this board for MultiWii and MegaPirateNG. I couldn';t have gotten it off the ground without it. For the record, I haven';t delved into MPNG yet, just MultiWii.

On top of the BT + GPS combo which is working great on MultiWii, I also sprung for a couple of Crius I/V 50V/90A sensors http://www.goodluckbuy.com/crius-v-i-sensor-voltage-and-current-sensor-50v-90a-compatible-with-attopilot.html and a OLED display. I don';t have these working yet, and am a bit scared to try hooking up the power sensors to the board in case I fry something.

From digging around on the forums, it sounds like this works fine for ArduCopter/MPNG, but there is no documentation around for MultiWii, I guess it won';t be too different, it';ll have to measure the I and V input lines on the Analogue A1 and A2 lines, or the A0, whichever ones you have free. There are a few mentions of adding a resister as a voltage divider for the voltage sensing, but I can';t see anything for this on the AIO Pro V2 board. I think the OLED is more straight forward being a i2c device, there is apparently some bug on the OLED which an be fixed with some super fine soldering skills.

Any tips on this? Has anyone got some experience with hooking up the current/voltage sensor to either the v1.x or v2 boards?

Hi Secret man the blue tooth is connected to the FTDI socket so uses port 0 and the APC220 is connected to port 3, as you know the APC220 modules no longer work and you need to use the rctimer 3dr type modules,
you cannot use the blue tooth while the usb is connected  as they both use the same port,
I have have used the 3dr while the blue tooth is still wired in but never tried to connect to both at the same time

Hi felixrising I havent seen any info on using the power sensors with multi wii and I dont think there is any code available for them,

Hi Gaza7,

I think the code in MultiWii supports both Voltage and Current sensing, do a search for "battery voltage monitoring" in config.h, there is a VBAT_PIN and PSENSORPIN in def.h and you';ll note some overrides in the section "override default pin assignments" under config.h that indicate that A0 is used for Voltage and A1 is used for current sensing. My understanding is that the voltage sensing requires an appropriate resistor setup (ie a voltage divider) in order to scale the output of the V/I sensor to be appropriate for analogue read input on the A0-7 pins (which I believe can sense from 0-5v or thereabouts.

Yea your right it does and I had forgot about seeing that before, I remember seeing it now when messing with the Oled screen because you could enable the reading on the screen, but I have never had a play around with it so have zero knowledge about it

Minor update. I found this highly relevant post over at the multiwii forums. http://www.multiwii.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3230 I';ve got all the right parts, so will do an implementation in the next day or so as time permits.

Hi , just received my Crius all in one pro V2 ( From RCTIMER ) via postman a few minutes ago , Installed MegaPirateNG and tested it out on the Mission Planner.

My sense of scale is a little wrong , it`s only very small .

I will have to give it a home soon , but still not fully decided to go quad or hexacopter , or which frame to get .
