Hi all

For testing purposes is there a way to get a pixhawk to arm and run the motors indoors, for testing.

I have tried turning then all off in the Arming Checks section on Standard Params but it still says need 3D fix to arm and i obviously cant get a 3D fix indoors

Is there some way of getting it to arm and run the motors indoors.

Thanks

Paul

Not used a pixhawk but with apm you can arm indoors, you just need it in a flight mode that doesn';t require GPS like stabilise or acro

Just remembered mine starts in Stabilised mode so will not arm in stabilised mode, will check the other modes when I get home.

Scan to the bottom of the page; it';s possible to disable any or all of the automatic pre-arm checks in mission planner. This can be very useful for trouble shooting but you shouldn';t fly with your checks disabled as a matter of course; if there';s something causing one to fail it needs fixing. But being able to turn them on and off makes testing stuff easier.
