First off, do I need a JP1 Jumper if I';m powering the board through the usb end? Or do I need it with powering APM 2.6 through the Power Module end?

I think I either may have lost the JP1 Jumper or the kit may not have included it. Is there a way to make a substitute? Will just soldering work? Or can I buy the jumper itself online? I don';t know what to look for so if I can buy it, links would be appreciated.

So if I have to power my APM via a micro usb connected battery, I';ll have to install the jumper?
