Drive current requirements

I have bought myself this gimbal controller;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252007680330

To go with this gimbal;

http://rctimer.com/product-980.html

But I am worried the rated drive current of that controller (1.5 amps per motor) won';t be enough for such a large gimbal.

Does anyone know if it';ll be OK or not?
One circlip short of a quadcopter.
 1 lobe short of an antenna.

Powernumpty

Looking at other controllers listed with that gimbal we get to http://www.basecamelectronics.com/simplebgc32bit/

Rev B
Power supply voltage    8–26 V (3s-6s LiPo)
Maximum motor current    1,5 A

So from that I';d guess you should be fine.
