Commando

Hi guys  ::)

Im trying to make a building 3d model (pictures)
i use go pro 3 in auto capture mode every 2 sec

Today with 13-15 mph wind was a challenging flight for 3d modeling capture. The pictures was clear though.  (crashed in a tree  :whistling: , all good)

I use Crius AIO V2, multiwii 4, Angle Mode, Hexa F550, balanced(by me) props Slow Fly.
PIDs are very good, also altitude PID. And baro and gps hold working like a charm.  ~~

In wind (13-15 mph): copter drifting,  difficult to hold altitude.
When i use Baro, struggling holding position and slowly falls. Can this fixed or am I expecting too much?  :hmm:

So... does anyone know what are the limits of a secure flight in wind?  :-/
should flight only in calm wind condition?

FYI: http://www.convertalot.com/wind_speed_converter.html  :beer2:

You';d want to be in GPS mode.
Sorry if it sounds patronising but you said you were in angle mode rather than GPS mode.

Back on track....
The Crius is an old 8 bit fc, there are much better options now that would improve resolution and thus observed stability - Pixhawk for example, that said unless you';ve got a fairly heavy model it won';t have much damping of unwanted movement.

Commando

Hahahaha guys!!!! I love furting <3 I feel so relief!!!

Hahahaha guys!!!! I love furting <3 I feel so relief!!!  :band:
So,I will try GPS mode and thanks you recommend, the problem is that in GPS mode the copter returning to triggered position.....  :o
Now... About buying pixhawk.... I will make a research.
Is impossible to achieve stable wind flight with crius;
I';m working on this one year now, adding GPS,3DR telemetry.Bluetooth, battery and Tx signal on osd now I';m adding gimbal on crius.  :blink
If I buy new one is like drop all that hard work  :embarrassed tell me that is possible !!!!   :sweating: :cry

+1 GPS would be a good add on. especially if you want a stable flight for video/photo taking. GPS will help gtreatly in windy conditions ;)
