Thinking of selling up!

Basically, i';m wanting a RC off roader for the beach and such. Looking for a rough estimate to stick on eBay at.

My setup is.

FPV Camera + Transmitter - £25?
EACHINE 700 TVL CMOS 148°
LT200 5.8GHz Transmitter

Will come with all the props I have and spare frame parts / screws etc. It also has LEDS already wired up and attached, but they won';t make much difference to the price haha. It';s all wired up to a PDB, and is all neat and tidy. ( Will get pictures later. ) It has a few minor scuffs to the frame, but it';s my first quad and expected to crash.

It';s ready to fly and FPV ready also. I';ve loved flying this thing, but I think a off roader is more my style. You guys have been great also! 

Any ideas?

Will you be FPVing the off-roader?, because you can save the FPV parts and sell the rest.

Well, i will be fpving on it but my camera isn';t a mounted one with a bracket. So would be easier to get a new one. And with the monitor, it won';t be able to fasten onto the transmitter so i think goggles will be the way forward.

Having some RC car experience I can say that I';ve heard that the HPI truggy is underwhelming. I can recommend from personal experience that a Hyper ST converted to electric is awesome

I found it ok, plenty of punch on good batteries for the times used, but suppose it depends what you want from one, i dont race, dont do competition, but for generally running around it has the power to do so,  personally i only comment from the experience of owning..

I got it for the windy days when couldnt fly the planes, but to be honest, they just aint for me sadly.

I do not claim to have experience with the HPI truggy. If that was what you took from it I';m sorry I misled you. I said what I did because I';m only trying to help out. But as you say it depends on how you use them.

I';ve put this on my wish list, would be nice if they sold it as a kit as I already have the radio gear I';d like to use with it.
Re-purposed my dx6i, made it a mode 3 and use the other channels for camera control, could even put HT on it, if I installed the module in my goggles.

Nic, i wouldnt want to insult by saying a price, but what i would say is, tot up what everything would cost to build that as it stands, then say knock a 3rd off or there abouts ?

unfortunately its a buyers market IMHO if your selling RC gear, or has always seemed that way for me, i';ve had to sell things for less than 1/2 the price just to get rid of.

Sadly, thats very true, and had to do exactly the same, am selling my Wookong M quad, but it may turn out where im having to grit my teeth and bare it lol, sadly thats how it is.

i think if you got somewhere in the region of 165 you might be lucky, but at the end of the day,  put a price up over what you would be happy with which would allow for knocking down.

rough rule of thumb for 2nd hand rc stuff is half of the new price, if in good condition. if its out of date stuff that no one is buying anymore then a but less.

True, its like the Planes, you literally get hardly anything back from them.

I';ve got all sorts stuck in the shed because I carnt get a fair price.
