Hey all,

Does anyone have any experience with this one? Looking at upgrading from my 25mw (*Cough cough*)

Supernova

Hi,

I have one, but not yet used it in anger. However I have tested it off the quad and all seems good. Easy to select channels with button and LED system. Build quality looks good. Image transmission was all good during the tests I ran (but no range tests). My only slight concern was that it does seem to run rather hot, but I have nothing to compare it too. I hope that when in flight the air movement will keep it cooler. I ran my tests using a 3s battery.

I hope to have it on the quad before too long, so could hopefully provide more useful info in the future.

Cheers

The ET200 is the one with the least power output compared to other 200 mW VTX such as SkyZone or Aomway.  I didn';t think it ran any hotter than the others and is certainly cool compared to an ImmersionRC 600 mW VTX.  :o

The push button is nice for selecting channels compared to dip switches, but it also means that you';re firing up every channel as you cycle through them.  That will be a problem when you';re with other pilots who are already flying FPV as you suddenly broadcast on their frequency.  There';s no way to directly select a channel unlike with dip switches.  You could pick it up for less from China.

As it';s one with the least power output out of the 200mW VTXs, does this mean it';s one of the worst then?
Do you have any recommended alternatives?

Have a look at this thread http://www.multi-rotor.co.uk/index.php?topic=13917.0

Bear in mind this is purely power output, no other features were compared.  I';m partial to the Aomway mini.  Not as convenient since it uses dip switches, but it has 5V output for the camera and a video signal output that is consistently above average.

Many people rate the TS5823 but both of mine suffered from significant video noise.  YMMV.

Just came across this review and that plus your comment';s pretty much sold me on the Aomway, looks great!

Jazzz

I';ve got that one props and so far on the dipole it';s worked fine up to about 300 meters when it';s on the quad it runs cool as I';ve not flown any farther out than that .
But I have noticed some bad interference next to a motorway when a big wagon goes past
