Hi guys.
So I';ve recently bought a fat shark attitude SD FPV setup and would like to try the head tracking. Unfortunately I only have a dX6i transmitter which I think isn';t capable of head tracking setup. The turnigy 9x is recommended by fat shark in the manual.
Having looked at them on eBay etc they seem incredibly cheap. Is this reflected in the quality of the unit and so too good to be true or would you recommend them?

Lots of people are using them and are very happy with them although most tend to upgrade the firmware  ~~
Some say they feel a little cheap but work very well, there is one in the for sale section  ~~

Out of the box they are good, when flashed with open9x firmware they are one of the most flexible transmitters on the market but quality can be variable.
I don';t have one, I have a Hitec Aurora 9, they are very good and at the moment a very good price at Airtek £199 for transmitter + optima 7 receiver.
That said there are one or two on here who have the Turnigy, if you can get one the 9xR is already running the open source firmware - my opinion, at the price worth a punt!

Cheers guys. I';ve sent an offer for the 9xr in the classifieds on here via eBay. She how I get on with that.

If you want some really good technical help the 9x forum is the place to go; Rob Thompson runs it and he is one of the most knowledgeable people I know of for anything to do with the 9x.
Good luck with it!

Cheers mate. Will take a look on there. ;-)
